At Sheikh of Sialkot, the majority of our leather is collected from all around the world and then it is processed from raw to finish in the tannery. Our tannery is equipped with the latest machinery and tanning technology. We give a great amount of importance to the improvement of our machinery on a regular basis, which as a result increases production capacity and allows us to stay in tune with upcoming trends.   PROCESS: The tanning process includes 3 major divisions: 1)      Wet-blue tanning. 2)      Dyeing 3)      Finishing.   Wet-blue Tanning: Separated and sorted in wet blue stores in accordance to grade of Skin/hide.   Dyeing: Skin/hide is dyed If skin/hide is not up to grade then it is either re-processed and/or removed to be used for a lower grade article   Finishing: Article is only finished if it passes quality control.
